The book
What is it?
A hardcover picture book about one child. We write their story from what you tell us, and every picture is made from their photo.
What ages is it for?
Newborns to about eight. One-year-olds are the most common.
Who can be in it?
The child and two more people are included. Up to 6 people in one book, $15 each from the fourth. Brothers, sisters, grandparents, the dog.
How are the pictures made?
Every picture is made from your photo. A person checks every page before it prints.
What's in the Keepsake?
The hardcover book, a 6-photo album and an online copy of the book to share. $119, delivered.
Ordering
How do I start?
Tell us their name, their age and a little about them, and add a clear, recent photo. Then tell us about a day or a thing you want kept. A sentence is enough; a paragraph is better.
Can I read it before I pay?
Yes. You read the whole story and see the cover and the first two pages before you pay. Change any line, or tell us what to change, and we rewrite it.
I've already written their story. Can you use it?
Yes. Paste it in and we'll use your words exactly, split across the pages.
How much is it?
The Hardcover is $99 and the Keepsake $119. A second copy of the same book is $39. Every price includes delivery and GST; what you see is what you pay.
Can I make one for more than one child?
Put up to 6 people in one book (3 are included), or make each child their own book.
Delivery
How long does it take?
We make the book in up to 3 days, then it takes up to 10 business days in the post. You see the arrival date before you pay.
When should I order for Christmas?
Order by Monday 30 November.
Can I send it straight to them as a gift?
Yes. Enter their address at checkout.
Do you ship outside Australia?
Not yet. We deliver within Australia.
Photos and privacy
What photo works best?
A clear, recent photo with their face in good light, looking towards the camera. One photo per person in the book.
What happens to the photo?
We use it only to make this book.
Changes and returns
What if it doesn't look like them?
You see them on the cover and the first two pages before you pay. If it isn't them, ask for another cover. Every page is checked against your photo before it prints.
What if it's not right when it arrives?
Not happy with it? Send us a photo and we'll reprint it. No questions asked.
